Visit the Iditarod Mushing Camp in Juneau
Located in the Sheep Creek Valley in Juneau, Alaska is our beautiful dog cart camp. During the summer months it’s hard to find snow in Alaska yet the dogs still need to stay in shape (and they’l let you know if you give them a run!). Dog carts are a great way for the dogs to still train in the summer while building muscle. The carts were specifically designed to hold a group of people without being to heavy for the dogs. On this tour you will learn all about the dog races in the winter and how the crew lives in the camp in the summer.
