Eliza Smiley

Juneau
Musher

I grew up in Maine and first moved to Alaska in 2015.  I loved it immediately and since then I have been fortunate enough to have lived, worked and travelled all over the state.  I enjoy working seasonally and having opportunities to meet new people and explore more of the remote parts of Alaska.

Some of my past guiding jobs include glacier hikes and historical tours in Wrangell-St Elias National Park and northern lights tours in Fairbanks.

I first worked with sled dogs with Alaska Icefield Expeditions on the Mendenhall Glacier in 2016 and later went on to be a year round tour musher in Fairbanks.  After a couple years living and traveling elsewhere, I'm excited to be mushing again in Alaska!
